Barrica Wines

10% off beer and wines

Individually selected wines excelling in quality, taste and value

When the opportunity came along for Barrica Wines to make their new home at Astley Park, it really was an offer that was too good to resist. However, it soon became apparent that this was far too big a home for just Barrica Wines to occupy alone and, so, Barrica in the Park was conceived.

With over 300 quality wines to choose from at Barrica in the Park (70+ of these under £10 per bottle), there should be something to suit almost all budgets. They carefully select the wines from mostly smaller vineyards, which offer you a much more diverse range of tastes and styles than you’d generally find in wines produced in higher volumes.

The beer selection at Barrica in the Park is really interesting and diverse. It features lots of beers brewed in here in the North West, as well from other parts of the UK, and many Continental choices too. As well as the many traditional styles of beer, you’ll also find plenty of contemporary styles of craft beer too. Oh, and don’t worry if you’re a lager or cider drinker, there’s plenty of these to choose from too!

Although Gin still appears to be hitting most of the headlines when it comes to spirits (and they stock over 50 premium gin varieties), you’ll also find plenty of other spirit options at Barrica in the Park: Vodka, Whisky (blended and malt), Brandy, Rum, Tequila, Bourbon, to name just a handful.

Let’s not forget liqueurs, also. If you’re a cocktail fan, they keep a great stock of essentials for you, including: Triple Sec (Orange Liqueur), Maraschino (Cherry), Coffee, Crème de Cassis (Blackcurrant), Crème de Cacao (Chocolate). There’s also Vermouth (dry and sweet) and Bitters (orange and Angostura), and then sugar syrup and Grenadine.

When it comes to food, they've collaborated with lots of fabulous, local food and drink producers and have freshly baked goods, cheeses, jams and chutneys, desserts, ice creams and much more.
