The Artisan Bakers

The Artisan Bakers is an independent, family run bakery and shop situated in the beautiful town of Barnoldswick. Owned and run by husband and wife team Kerry and Rachel Tyrer, they continue the baking tradition at their Edith Street bakehouse - purpose built in 1890!

The demand for ‘real’, freshly baked bread, continues to soar as people realise not only the difference in taste in comparison to supermarket breads, but also the quality of ingredients and potential health benefits with so many different breads they have to offer. ‘Artisan’ describes them perfectly and says all you need to know about their produce. They have a small, incredibly talented, team of bakers who make and bake by hand all of their quality, bespoke produce every day.

Their newly opened shop in Clitheroe is the perfect showcase for their speciality breads, cakes and savouries, all made and baked daily in their very own bakehouse. Delivered, often still hot from the oven, to the shop and out to their wholesale clients.

Deliveries are made six days a week to their wholesale customers which include a large variety of businesses, ranging from butchers to delicatessens and restaurants to pubs. They always welcome new customers who are looking to offer something that little bit different and of the highest quality.
