Make Do Drink; Knot
Time & Location
About the Event
Macrame is the ancient art of knotting, and in recent months, it has made a huge comeback. Whether as plant holders or wall hangings, large or small, they are a Scandi design dream and look ace! Plus, the crafting itself just needs time and patience, no prior knowledge needed!
This workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn the art of macrame. (To those not in the know, that's knots!) We'll start the session off with a marvellous Mojito, then our expert maker will talk you through at least three of the key knotting techniques, and then you can get started on the three uniquely designed hangings that you'll get to take away. There'll be step by step instructions on what to do next, along with experts on hand to guide you through. So the only thing you'll need to think about is if you'd prefer to work with natural linen or mustard yellow yarn, and where you're going to hang your masterpieces when you get them home!
Each workshop is 2 hours, so there will be plenty of time to ask our expert questions and produce something that looks incredible! The hangings you make on the day will be unique designs to the Make Do Drink workshop, but if you get the bug, Kiln & Craft will be bringing along some of their other kits that you could pick up and take home.
