The Wine Shed

The Wine Shed is owned by Nuala Wheeldon who left a career in Finance to pursue a passion for wine that had never left her since her first roles in restaurants as a student many years ago.

Whilst everyone at The Wine Shed is WSET qualified Nuala and the team believe real knowledge and experience comes from selling the wines you love. It’s as simple as that, at The Wine Shed they only sell what is loved, by the wine grower, by the wine maker, by their suppliers, by the team and most importantly by their customers.

These much loved wines are from small batch, largely organic or minimum intervention producers, who live and breathe their terroir, they invest lifetimes and generations of hard earned experience into every drop they make and they are thrilled to bring these unique and special wines to their customers.

In August 2020 they closed the shed and took their wine online to share far and wide. They still do tastings at all kinds of venues and will even visit you at home if you want to arrange a tasting for a special event.
