Boutique hotel in Burnley

Rosehill House was built in 1856, for a wealthy cotton mill owner Adam Dugdale. The house went through several changes of ownership, including the mayor of Burnley, Mr Sam Taylor, and was also occupied by the home guard during the Second World War. Rosehill House was then converted into a hotel in 1963. Many of the elaborate features of the original decor have been retained, including a number of beautifully ornate ceilings, which give the hotel a unique charm and character.

The Rosehill welcome makes you feel like you are living in your own country house with all the facilities that implies. The hotel features 31 individually designed bedrooms varying in size, shape and style, from single rooms through to doubles and twins or executive suites and family rooms.

Rosehill House is favoured by couples looking for exclusive use of the hotel for their wedding day. With a focus on quality food and inventive menus, it is renowned for excellent cuisine, dedicated service and individual attention to detail.

From the grandest of affairs to the most intimate of family gatherings. Whether it is the day in its entirety or solely the ceremony and the reception, every wedding is treated as special and unique.
