The hop vine
A village pub & brewery which champions a strong community spirit.
The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in the historic cobbled garden you will find their own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. From Ales to YPA’s, to Blonde beers, they are a small producer using primary English hops brewing exclusively in house for The Hop Vine and their sister pub the Legh Arms.
At the Hop Vine, they produce great food using the highest quality ingredients; much of which is locally sourced. Go and dine with them and have a fantastic meal in wonderful surroundings made by great chefs and served by welcoming staff.
